Janella brings over 15 years of experience in financial management, understanding of government policies and regulations, and a proven track record of enhancing operational efficiencies.
The finance director is responsible for the development and oversight of the Library District's finance, accounting, budget, procurement, and auditing functions. She will also develop and ensure the effective implementation of Sno-Isle Libraries’ comprehensive financial policies and procedures.
Before joining the Library District, Janella was the Finance Director for the City of Mountlake Terrace, where she was a leader in strategic planning and compliance with new laws and regulations. Her extensive experience in public finance, forecasting, and grants will benefit the Library District.
Janella holds a BBA in accounting from the University of Alaska Fairbanks and is a Certified Public Accountant.
Sno-Isle Libraries will continue to be good stewards of the public funds entrusted to operate the Library District.
