Sno-Isle Libraries is excited to welcome Vanesa Gutierrez as our new Community Engagement Manager, beginning on March 13. She will guide our government relations and partnership engagement.
Vanesa brings many years of experience in government relations, community engagement, and the development and sustainability of cross-sector partnerships. She has previously worked with Seattle Foundation, Snohomish and King County governments, and the City of Seattle. As a devoted reader, Vanesa is excited to become part of the Sno-Isle Libraries team and promote the exceptional work of library staff. She also looks forward to implementing equity and social justice principles in service of the community. Her skills in strategic planning, project management, and community outreach are bolstered by a multilingual and bicultural background.
