Sno-Isle Libraries Welcomes Kay Crull to our Board

Sno-Isle Libraries is pleased to announce the appointment of Kay Crull to the Board of Trustees. With five trustees appointed from Snohomish County and two from Island County, the Board ensures the diverse perspectives of residents across our entire service area are represented.

Following a competitive application process, Crull was appointed by the joint action of the Snohomish County Council and the Board of Island County Commission and will begin service in January 2025 for a seven-year term. Crull is a resident of Marysville and retired in 2019 from her position as senior vice president of operations for The American Red Cross.

“Kay’s passion for libraries and her focus on serving community needs will be instrumental in advancing our vision that everyone is connected to their library. Together, we will continue to provide equitable access to knowledge resources and library services, with the goal of making a meaningful difference in the lives of Snohomish and Island County residents,” said Board President Rose Olson.

Sno-Isle Libraries extends its gratitude to outgoing board member Martin Munguia, who provided strong leadership, including two terms as Board President, and a commitment to embedding equity and inclusion during his tenure. Munguia has been a strong advocate to establish an accessible community space anchored by a public library for the Mariner community.

Sno-Isle Libraries is committed to delivering library services to everyone in our communities.
