The new Lake Stevens Library project will celebrate a major milestone with a Groundbreaking Ceremony on Sept. 18 at the Chapel Hill property. Sno-Isle Libraries will host a Community Celebration on Sept. 21 at the temporary library.
The designs for the two-story, 15,000-sqare-foot building are inspired by community input with a focus on early learning and sustainability. Features will include an interactive children’s area, flexible public meeting rooms, several study rooms, and usable outdoor space for community events and cozy reading.
The groundbreaking on Sept. 18 will include Sno-Isle Libraries Trustees and staff, elected officials, the Lake Stevens Library Board, Friends of the Library, and media outlets.
The community is invited to celebrate on Sept. 21 at the current library with a native plant share, touch-a-truck event, family activities, and more.
Stay updated on the progress of the new library.
