Sno-Isle Libraries' Executive Director Lois Langer Thompson was formally commended by the Snohomish County Council with a Proclamation recognizing October 9, 2024 as Lois Langer Thompson Day in Snohomish County. They called for the people of Snohomish County to celebrate by reading and visiting your local library.
After six years of dedicated service, Lois Langer Thompson will retire on November 1, 2024. She leaves behind a legacy of transformative change through her commitment to equity and dedication to creating inspiring, welcoming spaces.
