Snohomish County residents are no strangers to unexpected or expected emergencies. How does one prepare for emergencies? When do we know when to evacuate or shelter in place? What should be in our emergency kits?
Sammie Keller is the outreach coordinator for the Snohomish County Department of Emergency Management and makes it their mission to provide tips and tricks on being prepared. During this talk, they will cover some emergencies within Snohomish County, what it means to be two weeks prepared, how to build go kits, the differences between evacuations and shelter in place, and any tools available to help you in emergencies.
