Summer Reading Toolkit

School is wrapping up and summer is on the way!

Summer Reading at Sno-Isle Libraries starts June 1 and celebrates adventures of all kinds. All reading counts, including being read to, listening to an audiobook, and more! Kids and teens who read 10 hours will get a free book and a sticker. Sno-Isle Libraries will offer fun in-person and online events, including a series of online author events that will be recorded. Featured authors include Kate DiCamillo, Max Brallier, Dan Santat, and Elizabeth Acevedo.

To help share this info with students and families, we’ve created a toolkit, including:

  • A short PPT deck with all the basics: Kids | Teens | Spanish
  • A digital bookmark in English and Spanish to share via email or your website. (We can also provide them with specific school district disclaimers - reach out to your local library.)
  • And a few booklists to get your students started.
  • You can also request printed bookmarks to have available at school. If you would like some, contact your local library.
