Born in 1960 in Richmond, Virginia, Baldacci worked as a lawyer before pursuing his passion for writing. His debut novel about a conspiracy in the White House, Absolute Power, was an instant success, later adapted into a film starring Clint Eastwood. Baldacci has since written dozens of novels, often blending politics, legal intrigue, and action-packed storytelling. His works include popular series such as the Amos Decker (Memory Man) series, the Will Robie series, and the Atlee Pine series, as well as several standalone novels.
