Sno-Isle Libraries is committed to creating inspiring spaces where our customers feel welcomed, included, and can easily find materials and resources. To meet these goals, we are excited to announce that the Langley Library will be undergoing a remodel in 2023.
In partnership with the City of Langley and supported by a $700,000 award from the state’s Library Capital Improvement Program and matching funds from Sno-Isle Libraries and the Sno-Isle Libraries Foundation, the remodel will include interior and exterior upgrades for greater accessibility while preserving the historic nature of the building.
Sno-Isle Libraries staff, the mayor of Langley, and public works employees have met with the architect firm to discuss the space and the community’s needs. Next, the architects will develop concept designs and create a space in which community members can share their feedback.
We look forward to working with the community on this project so that we can provide innovative services that allow more people to connect with their library.
