Sno-Isle Libraries has begun the process of finding an architecture and engineering firm to lead the project to construct the new, larger Lake Stevens Library. The Request for Qualifications (RFQ) was issued on April 19, with a deadline of May 19, for firms who wish to submit a proposal for the job.
One of the priorities for Sno-Isle Libraries this year in Lake Stevens is to begin site preparations at the Chapel Hill property owned by the library district. As work progresses, designing the details of the new library will include valuable community input to determine the right library for Lake Stevens.
