Job Search Activities

Filing unemployment claims? Each week you will need to report three job search activities as part of your unemployment claim.

There are many activities you can report as part of your weekly claim. Applying for jobs is one of the most common. You can also attend a workshop at WorkSource, create an elevator speech, or set up a LinkedIn account. The Employment Security Department provides a complete list of job search activities and how you can document them.

One virtual job search activity you can do today with a library card is watch a LinkedIn Learning certified course that results in a certificate of completion. LinkedIn Learning is free with a library card. Enter “snoislelibraries” as the Library ID in the mobile app.
