Looking to improve your English speaking skills? Sno-Isle Libraries offers many resources for learning and practicing the English language.
- Talk Time - practice speaking English with other English language learners in a safe, friendly and welcoming environment during the library's weekly conversation group led by trained volunteers. The program is free and you do not need a library card to attend. However, registration is required.
- Mango Languages - this mobile app teaches English using real-life conversations in short lessons designed for new speakers. Courses are available for speakers of over 20 languages. The app is available for download on Google Play and the Apple Store, and can be used for free with your library card.
- Audiobooks - improve pronunciation by listening to and learning from our hundreds of English language learning audiobooks, many of which can be streamed online for free with a library card.
