What are read-along books?
Read-alongs are digital books that include professionally recorded narration that plays while you read. In addition, many read-along ebooks highlight each word as the narrator reads it, making it easy for the reader to follow along.
If a reader would like the narrator to repeat a word or sentence, click or tap the word you’d like to hear again.
How can I find read-alongs in Libby?
It’s easy to filter for the read-along format in the Libby app.
- Click on the magnifying glass to open the search function
- Click on the three lines under “Catalogue Filters”
- Scroll down to “Format” and click on “read-alongs”
- Select additional on-screen filters for your specific interests, language preference and audience
