Remodel of interior and exterior spaces to improve accessibility and energy efficiency while preserving the historic building.

★ Drywall installation begins in late Sept.
★ Electric, plumbing, and HVAC is close to completion.
★ Exterior work, including the new roof and painting is finished.
★ On track to receive LEED Silver Certification.
★ Temporary library is at South Whidbey Community Center in rooms 114 &115.

A campus providing residents access to a mix of activities focused on education, learning, democracy and community connection.

★ The Library District has taken possession of the new property and will ensure it is secure and maintained.
