Who We Are

The Friends of the Langley Library is a not-for-profit, volunteer organization.

What We Do

The Friends of the Langley Library provide essential support to the Langley Library. The Friends of the Langley Library support the library with such purchases as copiers, personal computers, furniture and shelving and help cover the cost of programs for adults and children.

How To Join

Membership applications are available at the Langley Library. Yearly membership dues are:

  • Individual - $10
  • Household - $15
  • Limited Income - $5

Information on Donating

The Friends of the Langley Library accept donations of books for their ongoing booksale in the Langley Library. We accept hardcover and paperback books in good condition. Please, no textbooks, Reader's Digest Condensed books, or paperback romance novels.

The Friends of the Langley Library raise money through an ongoing booksale in the library, and through the sale of strip curtains ($30 and $45).

There was one place where I could find out who I was and what I was going to become.
And that was the public library.
